The J Edward Home's Process

1. Choose Your Lot:

We can build on a lot you already own we can assist in getting that perfect location. Through our ability to work with local developers we will help to get the best lot available.

2. Choose Your Plan/Design:

Standard Plans - Our standard plans are the quickest and most affordable options to building your new home. All homes designed by J Edward Homes can be modified to meet the needs of the client.

Custom Plans - Custom plans provide the most flexibility in home design. Customizing your plans begins by meeting with our designer who will take your thoughts and ideas and transform them into a working drawing for your review.

3. Select Your Finishes:

Once plans have been approved, you will begin the process of selecting your colors and materials that will make your home your very own. On occasion some custom selections may require changes to the design of a home. Any changes made prior to submittal of plans for permitting will help to reduce costs for changes.

4. Construction Begins:

As the home is constructed J Edward Homes will have several planned site visits with clients to insure accuracy and make any adjustments as necessary. Additional meetings can be scheduled if there is a need or the client would just like to be more involved.

5. Completion:

Completion The completion of a home is more than just signing off that everything was completed. J Edward Homes will provide a personalized introduction to the home. In addition, several of the vendors that work with J Edward Homes will also cater a project specific introduction around their area of workmanship.
